With food costs getting higher each year, many people are looking to cut down spending and food wastage. By thinking ahead and with a little planning we can all reduce or food costs and do our bit for the environment as well.

Here are some tips to save money on food costs in the UK:

 

  • Sign up to apps and email marketing lists for free food and discounts: You’ll get some food out in restaurants free of charge as they want your loyalty. 

 

  • Brew Your Own Beer: You can do this at home for less than a pound a pint by buying your own brewing equipment.

  • Buy Non-Perishable Goods in Bulk: Items like tinned foods, pasta, and rice can be bought in bulk from a wholesale retailer.
